This is relegation form

I'm wondering after all whether it is indeed possible for good players to become bad players overnight, contrary to popular belief.

Today's proceedings may throw more light on this quandary.

Before anyone says this is knee jerk reaction to today's match, just hear me out.

The way we play and set up without any striker who can put the ball in the net, a striker who can't hold the ball up, to bring others into play, not to mention who lacks pace.

When we attack there maybe one possibly two players in the box when the ball comes in and that's only if we get that far up the pitch.
Because we don't have a proper striker and don't have hardly any shots per match, we just won't score and team who struggle to score go down.

To make it worse the players out on the pitch, the fans in the crowd know that if we concede a goal we will struggle.

I will probably get shot down again like I did in my last post way back in July
IS ANYONE ELSE WORRIED
Jebus!! City, Chelsea, Tottenham, united. If the four games were spread through the season we'd not be bothered. It's four on the bounce. With Bournemouth, Burnley, Brighton as the next three or whatever, if we don't win at least two of those, THEN I'll be concerned!

Isn't rooney like one of the best strikers of all time. Can we not utilise him in a system that is set up for him to shoot?

If you use the past tense, wasn't Rooney a first class striker, then yes, but he isn't NOW, sadly, he did lots of good things today but also lost the ball and gave it away as much, if not more than most

Playing like this and losing to teams who aren't challenging for the title is relegation form, so I guess it remains to be seen
