quit it with the moaning already - thats business for you. its the way of the world, get used to itI live in Greenwich, and the weird thing is there's nothing around here at all. The only signs that there's something about to happen are road signs warning about the upcoming congestion etc. It wouldn't surprise me if the whole thing didn't go off and the local area being none the wiser.
It really doesn't seem to be a games for the public. I took my niece up to the park a few weeks ago and there's no means of looking around at all. Heck, you can't even take photos of the venues because there's a fence next to the road with no space to even stick a camera through it. The official 'viewing area' is inside a huge John Lewis. That kinda sums it all up for me. Of course you can go on an official tour of the park, but that simply consists of some chap walking round the same roads you can but giving you a bit of patter along the way. Think that costs around a tenner a ticket.
Are they making the most of this once in a lifetime opportunity?

I went on the tour when I was in London. It was pretty damn boring.
