Give a s***. I'm just happy we scraped it. I half want to play the Germans but still come in Ghana!

I half want the germans too (although not sure it's the smarter half). And I'm glad you made it through as well. From here anything can happen, topping group means nothing really. I don't root against England at all really.

The only small part of me which is happy to top the table has little to do w/ the english, it's more domestic. We have a certain population of footy fans who make it a point to belittle anything US soccer-related. They laugh at our league, don't support national team, & basically take a snobbish approach to anything lower tha manc u, chelsea, etc. So in that regard, it's helpful to be able to produce evidence here & there as to why they should take it down a notch & quit the fickle bandwagon fairweather sh*t.

Good stuff though. It should be exciting as hell from here.

Congrats to both camps. Did what was needed when the chips were down. Defoe was a breath of fresh air on that finish. Heskey wouldn't have been in the box poor lad.

Much more of an achievement for the US. I can see the US in the QF facing probably Uruguay...which would be tough, but not impossible. It really is open for both England and the US if the next matches can be won.
