This has really angered me...

There should be a inquest into this blantant douchebaggery. I want the press, MP's, former players, Clarke Carlisle and Danny Mills there too.

This should be followed by a trial to have the man put onto death row.

This is how outraged i would feel if i actually gave a flying duck.

Ohh yeah the writer is also a tosser none the less.

I can never understand why people get would up by these sorts of articles. All that happens is that a load of people click on the link to the original article and, in this case, the HuffPost get a few more page views which probably gets them a few more pence earned. Job done from their point of view.

When some website / newspaper says nice things about us the threads on here about them on here get much less response. Basically people seem to want to have something to fume about and go out of their way to find it.

View baiting.

This thread alone will send thousands of views.

Example. Part of an email to me Yesterday

wanted to ask whether you might be interested in perhaps working with [Website removed] on Everton content. We're a major entertainment site, making our first real strides into the world of sports coverage and we're looking to bring in knowledgable and passionate writers to help guide our coverage to being the best out there (as our entertainment and wrestling content already is) in the same way that Club Metro operate basically.

We currently pay all of our writers on a revenue share basis (of 40p per 1000 views), with opportunities incoming for further target-based monthly bonuses, and unlike Metro, there's no earning threshold. I would love to have you on board as a key Everton partner: writing news, op eds and mostly features, as well as bringing in other football writers (where you see an opportunity or know someone who would like somewhere to have their voice heard).

The more controversial an article, the more fume, the more views, the more pay.

But it isnt that bad I dont think.

The point is we have got lofty expectations after last season, and therefore its going to be more difficult to appease us lot.

Other than the last line and the Naismith comment its just a university student giving his opinion - whats wrong with that?
