Third Presidential debate - Foreign Policy

Nope.

Already know who I'm voting for.

WHERES THE WAR MONEY BILL? Sorry couldn't help it.

Aye staying up to watch it. Obama is doing much better but I would guess its easier to debate foreign policy when you're the incumbent President and you've been getting daily security briefs for four years.

I was expecting a poor showing from Romney, but he's been woeful. The lies about navy and air force size (purely comparing number of ships to number of ships 80 years apart is mad), his total failure to respond to the $5 trillion criticism, his sensationalist comments about Iran, saying he'll give the military MORE money (when the joint chiefs have said they don't even need it).

Amazed people are voting for him, he's utterly clueless.

'How confusing. Romney basically endorsed plan to withdraw from Afghanistan by 2014, which administration following. Contradicts earlier comments from his running mate, Paul Ryan. Romney is clearly worried about the criticism that he can sound like a warmonger.'

More contradiction from Romney, and people still see him as a viable President.

You'll gravitate towards Obama because you're liberal mate naturally. I tend to too.

America isn't in a great way at the moment so a lot of Romney is saying will resonate.

Close election this. I think Obama will nick it.

The biggest shame in American politics is the lack of an impartial, rational main news source to commentate on it. I'm flicking between various American news channels here and all it is dyed in the wool Republicans and Democrats trying to spin for their side.

Can someone just call it like it is. If your preferred candidate didn't do so well then call it ffs.

The partisanship f*cks their whole political capability up as each side tries to over polarise the other.

Aye.

Romney's still gash though ffs, the Republican party could have done far better. Would have much rather seen Huntsman standing up there.

Obama for me in that. Romney seems reasonable on the surface and relatively strong policies. Proved that in the first half hour, where I found it difficult to disagree. It's when you get to the actual application of the policies and strategy to make them viable, he just completely falls apart. Obama isn't perfect, but there seems to be a drive and direction to his politics that Romney lacks. Far too vague under scrutiny.
