I actually think Martinez will have us focusing on the top 3. Aim for the stars and even if you fail, you will reach the moon.

4th would result in a difficult playoff as the unseeded team. We may not have Lukaku due to the CL revenue only confirmed once we achieve group stage. Lots of variables and I would prefer us to focus on trying to snatch 3rd.
Almost impossible but a better aim than trying to cling to 4th when it is now fully in our hands.

Always easier to chase than to fend off the pack.

in our quest for 4th place (or 3rd...or 2nd....) we could really do with Fulham beating Norwich this weekend thus bringing West Brom and Norwich right back into relegation trouble and giving them a lot more to play for when they play Arsenal with a bita luck

We wont get third but we can cut them pretty close. we are 8 or 9 behind and can close 6 of them with next 2 wins plus kopite win vs them.

I think it could be an indication of how tough 4th is when we can run chelsea close right now and if we dont but keep winning then we can close them lot as well.

11 behind, we win / they lose and its down to 8. they lose to chelse and we win and its down to 5.

not a bad gain on title challengers eh?
