Embarrassing over reaction from some people on here.

Today was always going to be tough, they were well up for the game. We played well for large period and dominated. Two mistakes gifted them goals. People having a go at Lukaku are absolute idiots - he never played any pre-season games and has had 1 weeks' training since the World Cup. It's a miracle he even played today. Newsflash - he wasn't very sharp and was under par today - well fancy that! Who'd have predicted that eh?

We're still unbeaten. Yes the Barkley injury is very bad news, particularly the severity of it, but at least we have 2 weeks to get someone else in. Would have been worse if this had happened on September 2nd!

Onwards and upwards.

I feel its shear frustration - Leicester were a big Wimbledon hoof ball side and our defence was poor two great goals scored, and two poorly conceded - reminded me of de ja vue Norwich away last season - there's a long way to go COYB!

Wasn't confident as didn't feel pre season has gone well at all. Although anyone said that was ridiculed and told to 'wait until it matters'.

Hopefully we will start to improve soon.

I met up with a top fella, @allezlesbleus today to give him a ticket after one of my mates dropped out. He was with a couple of people who had travelled over from Italy just to support the blues today. I'm fully aware that it's grim when we lose, but the reactions get on my nerves. Not only is it the first game of the season, but it was against a recently promoted side who were well and truly up for it.

What's all the doom & gloom for? In our bad pre season we lost to Leicester, today we drew away with them, things are improving!!
Gutted about Barkley though, hopefully not as bad as 5 months out.

We're unbeaten mate.

Hope we stay that way a while but we need to improve, was disappointed with the energy levels and attitude today. I think when you see Arsenal bringing on the likes of Ox Chamberlain today, makes you realise it's a monumental task to try and stay with these teams.

Tbh was pleasantly surprised at how well we played in the first half, martinez seems to have made the gamble that we'll not come into the season at peak match fitness hoping that will mean we still have energy/less injuries around Christmas when we wilted last year.

As you say, these types of sides are often trouble - City lost to Cardiff in very similar circumstances twelve months ago, they went on to have a pretty decent season. And we at least got a point!
