2025/26 Thierno Barry

Aye it’s more or less the exact same rent a bloos who wanted to drive our own 20 goal a season striker to Old Trafford because he didn’t kiss the badge, and make the stone washed texans feel insecure. It’s ok we will just share the goals round, lad.

They’re more damaging to Everton that any kopite.

He scores pointless goals lad, we'd still be 7th if you took away his goals lad. I blame them for all this.

"He just needs a bit of luck"? Everton! need a bit of luck for someone daft enough to take him off us!
He would be brilliant in the Latvian 2nd division. Who signed off and said, that’s exactly what we need.

I don’t get the signing of Grealish, with an obvious hole in the plan.

I’m going to to sign the best 2 wingers in the country and have a pair of Forest Gumps at centre forward, said nobody ever.

Halcyon days, arguing over finishing 7th with the Rommer Baron stealing all the goals for himself or 8th with Koeman's Kommune sharing them out.

We're lucky if we can go a year without our famine relief funds being misappropriated now.

Moyes needs to change things. Increase confidence in players

No coincidence Dibling, Alcaraz & Barry arent thriving.
This. Barry may yet be a good player but his confidence is through the floor. Not the first time he's missed a sitter- those of us at Palace at Home will recall his one on one he somehow fluffed, frightening stuff. Dibling is even less impressive thus far, but I accept he's very young and a player for the future that we need to develop. It's also very possible he's a bang average player who stood out in one of the worst Prem teams of all-time, and buying him for stupid money has put too much pressure on the lad.

Moyes needs to get the lads down to Nando's or something and get everyone bonding asap.

At some point we need to look at running out Charley or even Ndiaye as a false 9. Barry/Beto absolutely kill any flow we have in the final third
Ndiaye is too important across the pitch to play as a 9. Today should have proved that for everyone, as much as we're lacking a tap-in striker, we've already got a fantastically creative attacker in Ndiaye who can create something from nothing. Alcaraz is fantastic and knows where the net is, I would say he's almost as creative across the pitch as Ndiaye, but because Ndiaye is a master at that I'd play Alcaraz as the false 9. Hopefully that logic is logicking for everyone.

Shocking miss, let's hope that doesn't prove costly
I think what could prove more costly is taking him off, the lad was playing well. Yes he missed a sitter, but not giving him the chance to make ammends. He now carries that miss, and the lack of faith from the manager.

Not a great way to manage and get the best out of a player.

Had we replaced Lukaku and got another decent striker it would have of been good business selling Lukaku for a profit. If we had signed a Dzeko or a Dembele it would been alright. We sold a 20 goal a season striker and signed countless players who play in exactly same position. It seems that our policy has been to sign players in every position other than up front.

Agreed on Ndiaye. But Beto or Barry simply offer next to nothing on the pitch
