2025/26 Thierno Barry

Sunday he was extremely underwhelming, he appears to be experiencing some mental barriers hopefully he can adapt but I'm willing to give him the entire season before I deem him a flop.
For a striker, it's always that first goal isn't it. A massive weight lifted off your shoulders, the sound of the fans roaring your name, teammates jumping on your back..
Suddenly you feel at home..

( Doesn't always work out that rosy, but it will show us a big sign on how it impacts him )

Even refererring to Bergkamp, Drogba and the cheating rat Henry in the same post as Barry is laughable!

Not really … did you actually read the post?

If quality players can struggle to adapt it would be logical to assume that Barry has the same issue , seeing as he is nowhere near as talented

Justin means because he’s not showing anything now , doesn’t mean he won’t improve

Sensible post I thought

But the players referenced had been stars before arriving in England and whilst they may not have pulled up trees scoring goals initially: their quality was very apparent.

The Magnificent Maupay.

You're miles off.

Firstly, Maupay had an excellent track record in England (37 goals in 85 games for Brentford in the Championship and 26 goals in 102 Premier League games for Brighton in the Premier League). He was also a French international at all the age groups.

Then on signing for us he scored the winner in a 1-0 win in about his second game against West Ham.

Granted he then turned out to be useless in our system, and a horrible snide to boot, but as a player he always looked a lot better than Barry has (so far).

Actually reckon Maupay will end with way a better career than Barry.
