5 games? Could give him 5 seasons and still never be good enough. Totally out of his depth in the Premier Lge.Why not just give the lad the next 5 games and let him try and build some partnerships/confidence. I’m absolutely certain at worst, he will be no worse than Beto. Pointless giving him 10-20 minutes here and there.

Yep, he deffo needs a run of games to get up to speed with the prem because it’s more of a hindrance him playing bit parts and, it can’t be doing his confidence any good.
You watched him play for Villarreal? How often?I think it's highly likely he's being asked to play a touch deeper so he can be involved in build up. Beto is purely hassling defenders because that's all he can do really.
It's slightly strange because in La Liga he played right on the defensive line and being aggressive and a hassle for CBs was a huge part of his game, which is what makes me think its specific instructions now - you can see he immediately takes up a very different position to Beto when he comes on.
I'd rather one or the other for a few games, rather than 45 mins for each, which isn't doing Barry or Beto any good. Or just play neither and stick Ndiaye in the middle. It currently all seems a bit half cocked to me atm, like Moist can't make his mind up.Problem is though, what if you do this, and he’s awful? Do you keep him in for the run of games? Because fans will then be demanding for a change.
Booo BannerI would like to see Thierno Barry given a proper chance with a run of games before I get my "Booo Banner" out.

I wouldn't be able to make my mind up either choosing between crap and crap![]()
I'd throw Charly down the middle with Grealish/ Ndiaye either side in a straight 3. More on the floor football. Can't possibly do worse than the 2 B's now.Agree completely. Barry or Beto either need to get a proper run of a full 80 mins or so. Or Ndiaye.
True Eggs and he definitely needs more than six games as a part time player!…..his confidence doesn’t automatically grow with games, indeed it could have the opposite effect.
I never get ‘run of games’ philosophy if a player is struggling. He needs to build a hunger and desire to play, as a forward he also needs to play on the front foot rather than waiting for things to happen. Currently he looks a bit scared of playing but that can/will change. We want see him joining in, looking to get on the end of things rather than hoping to get on the end of things.
Use him as he’s being used, hopefully he’ll start to feel more a part of things and his form will improve.
It is literally all available online dad. You may or may not be shocked to learn that the young starting striker for a CL team in La Liga looked pretty good. You watched him play for Villarreal? How often?
