Some of you lads seem to accept the fact that an english player will have a higher value....

That doesn't make sens at all. I could understand that in the begining of the EPL, because in Europe, teams had a restriction on foreign players. And by foreigner you had the walsh, the irish and scots.

I those days, good english players were expensive because you pursuit for quality foreigners was restricted.

But nowadays you can field 11 continental players in every competition.

So, it doesn't make sense to pay over the odds for an english player.
