He has to be sold. He's 30 in march and its the last chance for us to get a decent fee for him (maybe even our money back).

Nowhere close to the level we need and id snap someones hands off for £20mil, i hope Marco and Marcel feel the same.

Amazed at some of the posters here calling people 'clueless' for pointing out all his faults. He's basically another Aaron Lennon -- pace and can defend.

Top sides win games by going on the front foot...look at Richarlison on the left, attacks and defends at the top level and scares the opposition.

Before someone posts that Richarlison was a 'one off', look at ALL of our other signings under this management: Mina, Digne, Zouma, Gomes, Bernard and Richarlison...no reason we cant hope for another star signed.

Imagine walcott + £15mil = Richarlison.

Sell pronto.

He's a good player, maybe even very good, but I have faith in Brands to bring in an equally talented young player with the same funds we could receive for him. It's clinical but I agree with you that we should be looking to sell him while his value is high. As much as I hate to say it we probably should be considering the same with Coleman.

Just off the top of my head Baines, Jagielka, Howard, and Distin all stayed here too long. We missed a trick selling them while we could still fetch a decent price for them. Alex Ferguson was a master at timing this with players.

I'm a Walcott fan but tomorrow even if fit I would either bring Tosun in up top or Lookman. Maybe bring both in and rest Bernard as well. We are finally in a position where the quality below is good enough and we need to keep our players fresh. Also if we are rotating it will be more difficult for opponent to set up as our wide players all bring different challenges.

Spot on

I think Walcott needs a rest, not sure he is fully fit!
I think he just needs a goal. Hes been getting into good positions but his touch or finish has let him down. He does typically go on big scoring spurts then droughts so newc would be a good opportunity for him to bag. I'd play him lookman and richarlison as the front 3. Pace and direct.

Edit: but then that means dropping bernard who's playing well. Good problems to have. Beats the days of playing sigurdsson or Davies out wide. Hahaha

Coleman will never play for another club.

I’m 30 in 6 years, kill me and use me for compost now before it’s too late.

If there is any doubt on his fitness he should sit out altogether if he is ok bring him on after 60 and unleash his pace on tiring legs. Hopefully ready to start at Watford whichever way.
