He was very lucky it fell to Sigurdsson, because he should have burst the net with the shot he missed.
Just logged on to say exactly that. He misses about 90% of the time when he's one-on-one with the keeper and it's simply not good enough. Like you say, lucky where the ball ended up otherwise it'd have been groans instead of cheering around Goodison for him passing up yet another golden opportunity.

He’s already talked about falling out of love with football at Arsenal, doesn’t look good for his levels of commitment. He hasn’t looked arsed for ages now, and it’s reflecting in his performances.

Get him on the bench and make him earn his place back in the team.

I like wingers to assume responsibility and to demand the ball and make things happen just like Morrissey used to do.

Walcott dodges the work-load..he passes responsibility by passing backwards and running off somewhere behind the full-back
where he can't be reached. If the field opens up then he will run but his runs are rarely created by his own efforts.
He does not provide the solution to a packed defence whereas Lookman likes to have a go and create.

Bernard and Walcott were both very disappointing yesterday. My three up-front for LFC would be : Richarlison, Tosun and Lookman.

There will only ever be one Moggsy, the most under rated player in two championship winning Everton teams.

I've always liked Walcott even when he was at Arsenal. I know he doesn't take enough of his chances but always a threat with his pace which keeps opponents in their toes. I hope he gets a goal soon so people get off his back. People whinge about 09 cup final right side and still complain now when both have been substantially improved. I would like to see us get a left footed back up for Walcott just so we had a different option. I definitely would not be dropping him for Lookman who I believe is far more comfortable on the left or as a "10".

Switch one bad finisher with another. I agree Theo should be benched soon, but Lookman isnt the answer. Yet.

I noticed Ademola was the only Everton player to give away his shirt after the game yesterday. Great gesture by the guy, wish all out player did that every game.

Yes but assuming each shirt costs the club around 10-15 pounds, let's go in the middle and say 12.50 (likely less tbh) before they mark it up 350%, if each of our 14 players (11 + three subs) who play give their shirt away each game, that'll cost the club just over six and a half grand per season.

To put that into context, about the same amount of money we pay Yannick Bolasie each DAY while he is on loan at Villa because they only pay about half his wages.

The club cannot be expected to shoulder such a financial burden in giving away so many valuable shirts!
