I don't think he's that good and I didn't think he was that good at Arsenal either. I'd love him to prove me wrong but he's taking his time about it.

If his heart was as big as his talent he would be great but unfortunately he has never fulfilled his early promise in his career or at Everton and I honestly think it’s because he doesn’t put it all in.

But that’s the weird bit. He was playing well in a struggling team when he arrived. Now he’s in a team that’s going from strength to strength and playing far more attacking football and his form has dipped. Most players who hide do so when the going gets tough, not the other way round.

He could have scored 6 goals this season too, but he keeps burning his chances. I think thats a vigger factor than him hiding. He could have scored 6 so far too, had he finished better.

My main issue with him isn’t with his finishing, passing or crossing. It’s with his lack of link up play with Coleman.

They get in each other’s way, they don’t appear to know what the other one is going to do with / without the ball.

When we play down the right I tend to think we’re going to lose the ball rather than create something. The complete opposite of when we play down the left.

Just very different players with different attributes. Frankly, we did a crap job springing him in the first half and it seemed like it was there.
