I never thought I’d see the day where Everton are soo desperate to signing a 29 yr old past it Arsenal left over lol. I think I’m done watching for the season until big Sam and Walsh are gone in the summer. The worst season I have ever witnessed as a evertonian. We need big changes this summer dump half the squad Rooney included
Not around in the 90s then mate

I never thought I’d see the day when FSA and Samuel ( I consume my own bodily waste fluids ) Lee would stand on the touchline of Goodison managing and coaching my beloved Everton
My late father who brought me to my first game and his friend Paul Johnson who he worked with on Liverpool Docks and got us our tickets every year would spin in their graves to see those 2 on the sideline.
However with the state we are in its needs be.
Anybody who can’t see that Walcott will be an immediate improvement to our first 11 needs to give up supporting Everton and play table football instead

Can't please everyone. We're signing a premierleague player playing at his peak who is fast and scores goals, has played at the highest level and won trophies but some are moaning because we haven't had to fight off interest from the top 6 for him. Harsh reality right now is we can't compete with those teams on or off the field. If we'd have bid for Salah in the summer there would have been a section of our fans moaning about him being a Cheslea reject, you never know how a transfer will turn out. Right now Walcott is better than what we have and he offers what we lack. That's a good start for me.

Washed up? 'Kin hell he's under 30, not in his 50's. Still has his pace, knows where the net is and wants to be playing regular football which he'll get here. Lookman will get his chances but needs to have a spell on loan, what we should have done a year ago when we signed him
It’s Zatmania gone mad
Don’t see many teams in the top 6 with 5/6 under 23s in their starting 11

Oh dear lol man overboard!

I'm excited about the move if we can get a LB in as well (AND I MEAN A DECENT LB FFS). In a way though, it's underwhelming if we wasted our budget on him.

I agree Walcott will definitely be an improvement for this season but next season he will be 30 those are just the facts. A 30 yr old winger ... I just hope his contract isn’t 3 years.

20 million quid for a washed-up, failed version of what Lookman could some day become... but won't because we'll be playing Walcott's disinterested remains ahead of him.

Nothing left to play for this year - the perfect chance to invest in building a coherent tactical system, and giving the best youth side in England critical top flight experience.

Instead, we're squandering ridiculous sums on overpriced has-beens so our overpriced has-been manager can tread water.

I miss the days when we were poor but smart.

Walcott has had a decent career.

I'll be gobsmacked if Lookman scores over 100 goals for us.
