Well here we are now, in the midst of chaos post Brexit, the Irish team take the field today to try and save and Europe.
As the gaurdians of peace and justice in Europe it falls to us to right the wrongs of the week. Beat France to set up a tie against Engerland and sort this brexit stuff out.
However all is not well in the land of hope and glory and as the thread title suggests, they wish they were the Republic of Ireland.
