Milk

Udderly delicious
Exciting, isn't it hearing that we, poor Skint Everton, actually have the mythical "War Chest" to spend in the summer of 2016?

But how big is it?

£100m plus funds from sales.

It's not actually THAT much in the scheme of things (certainly not as much as the likes of city, united, chelsea etc will spend) but it'll do me.

I think we should prepare ourselves for the long game though.

The level of turnover we'll see throughout the club will take some time to stabilise.

Personally I don't think there's a fixed transferbudget. Imo Mohiri will spend what he believes that needs to be spend. If that's£50m, 80m or even more.

Completely agreed, nowhere has Moshiri said I'm spending £100m on players, can't see it happening. We may get that spend after player sales, which is fine with me but Moshiri isn't abramovich rich like some thing, he isn't going to spend a big chunk of his wealth like that. Can see him ploughing into a waterfront stadium as that will almost a gurantee his investment returning.

What would people prefer if Lukaku goes...

4 40mil players
8 20 mill players

Obviously its just a question Im aware not everyone costs a round figure and I am just interested if people think we can even attract a 40m player considering we are not in europe and finished 11th?

It isn't just player sales and Moshiri's money that should be included when discussing this supposed war chest. Like every other club in the Premier League, the TV money is going to make a massive difference, and I believe it will still make up a large part of our transfer expenditure, it won't all be Moshiri's money.

This last season's total in prize money saw us obtain the last third of a circa 90 million pound increase over three years from the last TV deal. It is this increase that has allowed us to spend significantly in the transfer market over the last two years, and it should allow us to do so again.

Even if all that money is already accounted for, which I'm by no means convinced that it is, then the new TV deal that matches the old one and then adds a 71% increase starts coming our way in separate tranches from August 2016. The TV money will play a massive role in Premier League clubs expenditure this summer.

Whats the difference between:

£100mil and no sales
£150 / £200mil with sales

could all be the same ?

We need 6 to 8 players in and I'd say the average budget is like 20m a player.

A serious upgrade in quality is coming to the squad with the likes of Pienaar, osman, Hibbert etc all being moved on.

What a team we'll have, raping teams we will be, mark my words, some teams may not even turn up to face us
