Totally unbalanced. Centre forward and centre back are the crucial positions and we are well short in both.

I think our squad is really good and has much potential. Yes we COULD have done more, but clearly Koeman wanted other signings and couldn't get them over the line. We tried especially hard for Giroud, Costa and Vermaelen.

People can say oh we should have tried to get a replacement for Lukaku, we knew long enough. Well who? Who was available and better than Calvert-Lewin & Ramirez? Fact is, there was very few strikers available. Koeman even swallowed his pride and brought back in Niasse from the cold. So clearly he knows the striker is a major problem.

Think the manager has played way too narrow and made some very poor selection mistakes. He seems to be wanting to play a centralized formation and ignoring our wings totally.

Klaason and Schnederlin have been poor, yet he continued to leave Davies on the bench. The exclusion of Lookman, Kev etc is strange and not giving Kenny a go at right back is odd aswell.

I think we will look back at this last window as a failure . Apart from good gk and cb - A new RB on a free who can't defend, 3 number 10s, some bloke we saw playing twice (vlasic), a speedy winger who we had to immediately loan out, and perhaps worst of all.... We sell lukaku with 2 yrs on his contract to a direct rival for a knock down price and early so he can fit into man u side well before first prem game and then we don't replace him. We should have done a vvd/coutinho /sanchez - just said no despite them all wanting to leave their clubs (and they are all playing this weekend) . The lukaku transfer window fail alone should result in someone being fired .
