Reidy's Bottle Of Grecian
The Unobstructed View
The Tour of Britain starts on Sunday 9th Sept. It will be visiting the area on Monday 10th as stage 2 ends at Knowsley Safari Park...
I'm torn between heading over to watch where one of the sprints finishes or just walking around the corner to watch it go past and take some pics.
I shall be walking up to the 'border' before then to make some alterations to a 'Welcome to Wigan' sign though. Be interesting to see if all the local scooter boys are gonna be waiting to ride him through the borough as well.
The Stage Two finish takes place within the grounds of Knowsley Safari Park, which will have free entry on the day. For more information on activities planned for the Stage Two finish, please click here. Please note, there will be no car access to Knowsley Safari Park after 1pm on the day of the race, and no access for pedestrians at any time. Spectators are permitted to cycle to the Safari Park.
Shuttle buses to the Safari Park will run from Huyton Bus Station and Prescot Railway Station every 15-minutes from 12-noon.
