Yesterday , I SORTA had a Sermon done .

This system is new , and I'm still figuring it out .

I've just opened it to finish it , and instead of the 6/7 pages of sheeeeiiiit , I left early this morning , I found half a paragraph , my initial effort on Friday night ,..

Anyway , if I can find it , I'll post it . If NOT , I'll re-do . May be nearer to the Monday Moan-Up , this week , though .

I've got about a page and a bit on paper - I NEVER do that , either , so I'm going with late afternoon , tea time .

Not to sound like a Harry Enfield Character, but you really should've used a word processor with an autosave feature, or somekind of OS that saves progressive snapshots of documents.

Save will save it in the name you previously specified. Save as will ask you to enter a particular name.

Perhaps you saved it in two different names? Do a search for all .doc files. You save it as .doc in word or what?

on the subject of your 'arl laptop, you can get the hard drive put into a 'caddy' then plug it into usb and you have all your old stuff.

if you look underneath there are some panels that unscrew and the hard drive is in 1 of them, it just pulls out and fits into an 'adapter' called a 'caddy' which via usb becomes a portable hard drive, you can access your 'arl musings and files and also save your new stuff on there, I was told that they are about £15 and will do it when I get a new laptop.
