Howard
Clyne Heitinga Distin Baines
Fellaini Fernandes
De Guzman/Donovan(Jan) Pienaar

N'Doye Jelavic

Subs:Gordon, Coleman/Hibbert, Jagielka, Gibson, Gueye(Donovan from jan), Siggurdson, Rodallega

Dreams of this fairly realistic squad for next season, sorry lids but this is what optimism is, quite a lot of frees there, of course gordon wouldn't be a necessity either, only siggurson and N'Doye would require a fee.
I know all of these won't happen (4-4-2 is questionable as well) but i'd like to think it's not beyond the realms of possibility given funds from cahill, anichebe and rodwell which could well happen

That's 4-5-2

donovan from jan on loan (which seems like it has substance) will be competing with de guzman mate, whatever happens i'm hoping our right wing will be sorted before it gets to january again

Never seen this de guzman play. Heard he's decent though. Could do with a right mid for the whole season rather than just 10 weeks again.

I can't see eight new players being brought into the squad this season.

well i don't see gordon happening because it seems mucha is staying, however, there are more funds there that could help pay for wages of free transfers. I wouldn't be too let down if fernandes didn't sign because gibson has done a very good job for us. Therefore that's only 6, we're definately looking to buy someone in that cahill position, a right mid, pienaar and at least a backup striker, so you would presume we'd be making at least 4 signings. Would like to see RB strengthened but don't see that being adressed this summer

He'd be brilliant in the prem. Jelavic and him would work very well together i'd imagine. Nailed on going to England, his agent is former Man City and Fulham leftback Niclas Jensen.

No way in hell he'll cost 6mio though. His contract is up in two years and he wants to leave as badly as Landy does. He's had (by his standards) a poor 2012, most likely because he's wanting out. Especially since FC Copenhagen only came second in the danish league.

I can definately see him moving for 3-4mio or straight swap with big vic b)

I could easily see him move to Wolves . Their new coach Staale Solbakken brought to Denmark and had him playing his best ever.
Despite being Danish and living in Denmark, I don't follow the Danish league at all. So I'm normally sceptical when we are linked with someone from there, cause it really is a Mickey Mouse league with only FC Copenhagen really being able to buy anyone. They normally buy Danish players who have flopped abroad, average Swedish players and every young Danish player who shows just the least bit of promise and most of them are left to rot on the bench.

Despite this they dominate the Danish league in the same way as Celtic/Rangers in Scotland or Barcelona/Real Madrid in La Liga. So yeah N'Doye might be superb in the Danish league, but then again the best player a few years ago was Tobias Linderoth when he left us, or Groenkjaer after he left Birmingham.

Now I'm not saying that he would flob, I don't know enough of him, but I would just take any player "dominating" the Danish league with a pinch of salt.

I've saw ever RCD Mallorca game that he played in during the 10/11 season and he's boss. Cracking shot on him, can pick a pass and boss going forward. I'm not sure he's be competing with Donovan, if he were to come, I'd say competing more with Cahill...just what we need. SIGN HIM FFS.

i always thought he'd be better in the centre as well but i've not seem too much of him and a lot of people were saying he'd do well on the right so that's what i based that on

William Kvist would've walked straight into EVERY midfield outside the top4+Chelsea in the prem
