I said that at that time.DM went down the drain when he took this eegit with him as second hand man
Alan Irvine was better, and being an ex blue, knows the club better. He's back now, yes?
Something Martinez is embracing, ex players.

Wonderfully apt, isn't it?What's beautifully deserving is the ground that served to signal the end of them, I can't get over it.
Much as I don't like defending Moyes, Irvine was back way before DM left. Pretty sure Irvine only left because he was taking over as Preston manager, not because Moyes wanted to replace himI said that at that time.

Not in his previous capacity though. In his current one.Much as I don't like defending Moyes, Irvine was back way before DM left. Pretty sure Irvine only left because he was taking over as Preston manager, not because Moyes wanted to replace him
Absolutely this.Although I can't really speak as to Steve Round's abilities, you do get the impression that he's been incredibly lucky and will never ever land a job as big as Everton or United again.
Not sure what you mean Groucho. He was assistant manager here, left the club to take over as Preston manager. He then came back to the club in 2011 to take over as Academy manager - which is the job he'd done at other clubs before joining Everton in the first place. Not in his previous capacity though. In his current one.
I mean he didn't return in the assistant manager role, that he held before going to Preston. Not sure what you mean Groucho. Yeah, but in fairness that couldn't really happen, since he'd (obviously) been replaced after leaving for Preston.I mean he didn't return in the assistant manager role, that he held before going to Preston.

Haha. No idea what Steve Round's qualities are or aren't to be fair... Very difficult to really judge an Assistant Manager's quality from outside the club*X-Factor voiceover:
