Is anyone really arsed what that massive whopper thinks about us? As others have said, we've used the money well and we don't miss him. Face. Bovvered?

Tbh, I wasn't very impressed with the way the club handled the situation & find it rather comical that some supporters see Lescott as a hate figure, particularly it seems due to the timing of his transfer request. This makes it seem as though the request came as a surprise to Moyes & the Board, but they knew all summer that Lescott wanted to go. It's not down to Lescott to consider the way Everton are run - that's the responsibility of Moyes & the Board. Lescott is a professional footballer & so he'll want to go where he considers he has the best chance of succcess & reward - surely this doesn't come as a surprise to anybody. I don't see why sometimes in transfer deals it seems there has to be some scapegoat, as if a piece of normal football business has to have good & bad, right & wrong - to me it's just the business of football.
