McBain

Player Valuation: £80m
You suddenly find yourself alone in Howard Kendalls office in 1991 and realise you have One Minute till you wake back up today.

You have sixty seconds, a pen and a piece of paper to alter history.

Go!

Morning H, how are you mate ? How are the kids ? Ok i suppose i best get on with this then.

European Cup (semi-final) 1985

Liverpool 0 - 4 Panathinaikos (1st leg)

Panathinaikos 1 - 0 Liverpool (2nd leg)

Close thread.

write a note saying;
i ) get this team together, lists team we all know.
ii ) don't let Southall play for wales in Ireland EVER
iii) get replacements before you need them - good ones.
iv ) don't go abroad
v ) keep off the p*ss

edit; rest Bracewell for the Newcastle away game

Er, 1991 lads?

1991 is too late to change things, the rot set in way before then & as someone said the ability to alter RS semi final would probably be the thing that would stop it all.

No, because by 1991 those things have already happened. It's like going back in time to 1951 to warn everyone about the second world war
Nah thats not how i saw the OP.

If i wrote down that the President Kennedy motorcade doesn't drive down Dealey plaza and then woke up, those events don't happen. Think Timecop with Van Damme. Thats how i saw the orginal post, you saw it different, no biggie.

Id give him a list of massive priced horse race winners and tell him to get the owners to whack a small fortune on every time on the understanding that a huge percentage of the winnings gets put into the club

I'd write down every top player i could think of between then and now. The team you could build. Dunno, was bored at work!

I'd maybe mention that the impending premiership would become the biggest league in the world, so if there's any shot of a new stadium, don't bollox it up. Growth is assured.

Don't know what you'd do with that information on the playing side, though - seemed like the football changed more gradually through the 90s.

Simple.

Sign Keane, cantona, Dont sell keown.

Make sure when the premiership kicks ins 2 years from now everton make money from it

dont sign that mike walker, just go for the true blue Royle, he is going to do a good job of things.

Make sure you get muller to sign the contract.

And dont come back to the club if you leave again!
