The silence from the club is a disrespect toward the fans

Maybe it's just me then who's fed up of seeing these threads. Every single person thinks they're being original or something.

Do something constructive, like the people's group. This isn't constructive; it's tedious.

I mean "feel free to email the above to Ross or others"... what the [Poor language removed] is that? Like GOT's some kind of Evertonian P.O box.

For the record, I've nothing against OP's thoughts or opinions. I'm beyond fed up too. But I'm also fed up of seeing so many people start these threads. It doesn't do anything.

I'm with you pal.

It does no good having a go on here. No good at all. Its like me going down to St.Mary's with a "Kenwrong Out" banner. Pointless.

(I might do that though but purely for comedy)

We seriously considered that.

It's an option, and one I wouldn't complain about happening.

I've been here since the start lid, it's nailed trust me.

You want to direct your ire at those who got the Kenwright thread closed.

There's plenty of things to discuss but a small few want to steer every thread into anti board fury.

Agreed. So locking the one thread where you could contain all the idiots probably wasn't the smartest idea in the world! In fact, I believe the thread was started by Dan for that precise reason.

For example, if this thread came about normally, I'd say "there's a Kenwright thread right here... <link>". And a Mod could merge it, or lock it etc.

I'm not asking for D/D to go all Kim Jong-Il, mate, but there has to be something in between absolutely no debate and a cycling of repetitious threads expressing the exact same things all day, every day.

There is - having just the one thread. A loony house for the lunatics, if you will!

Agreed mate but a small percentage of anti board posters got it locked. So they can fume at themselves and no one else really.

If it can't be discussed civilly then it won't be at all I imagine.

This. It was a nice idea and I'm sure there was a lot of civilised debate when it was opened.

But it ended up being the forum equivalent of two monkeys hurling their fecal matter at each other. Back and forth.

But they were at least caged monkeys - now we have a massive gang of them roaming the city and spoiling various cheeses.

Why not merge all these threads into an 'off the field' sub forum in the everton forum, were upon those wishing to discuss bills free match tickets and sandwiches can freely do so ?
Or face the ruination of an excellent forum with endless threads about Bill Kenwright and the board from a handful of posters.
Who wish to forcibly impose their views upon us.

I suspect TX locked that thread accidentally, given he didn't say he was closing it.

We're reviewing - not long until the season gets back under way and normal service is resumed/enforced.

Closing as off topic.
