They'll find it interesting you think? Can't think it's anything like they'd have seen before.

I hope so. There's not really a tradition of contact team sports in latin america like there is in the english speaking world so it should be different.

And there's not much of a better introduction to a sport than a world cup final.

Argentina play quite a bit of Rugby due to a Public school system based on ours. Strange to think these days that relations between the 2 countries used to be at the opposite end of the scale from how they are now.

Their backline with Slater, Inglis, Hayne, Thurston, Cronk et al is just sex. The Burgess boys, James Graham etc. can hold their own I think against the Aussie pack, but the backs are on another level again to anyone else in world rugby.

I know I read in another thread that Kieran Read has been the player of the season in both codes this year, but I think Thurston overall would rival anyone as a first five in rugby, in it's history, he's got every trick in the book. Plus, his kicking's alright like:

Thurston is absurdly good, but I have to admit to having a soft spot for Jaryd Hayne. I always saw him as an exceptional runner, but he's been so good creatively this World Cup. Brett Morris has had a field day because of him.
