Well they all believe they have the power after their part in getting shut of Martinez. All that shows is they want an easy life, to pick up a fat wage and stick two digits up to the supporters. Unfortunately due to timings of appointments and assessment etc Koeman realised he'd been sold a pup with this squad after the window had shut.
If he wants the supporters on his side he needs to shift a lot out in January, get in players of a better standard and start bloooding some of our youth...

It's the set pieces that kills me. We offer nothing on them always straight to the keeper or first defender but concede so many. Awful defending today, and how many alehouse hoofs where there? No style of play at all. A long winter ahead and if Lukaku's goals dry up/ he is injured or buggers off we will continue to slide

Koeman had the wrong attitude from the start - no fan contact, eat together, do as I say - that's fine up to a point but they don't care. Go check the Etihad Tunnel Cams - you'll see players not even arsed when they lose - see the City/Chelsea one or any other one, they're not arsed when it's 1-1. Maybe 3-4 of them are - and during the game but afterwards they're not really bothered. No attachment - move on, new club, new wages..

I've never seen Mirallas as even remotely arsed. Plenty of talent but no sweat and does very little for the team. At 1-0 I thought we're doing well with about 8 on the pitch (Macca, Geri, Mirallas not involved). Look at it like this - ask why he left Olympiakos, champions and CL team for Everton - you don't need to ask. When does he put in 90 minutes shift (or, even, when does he make it to 90 minutes?) - Geri, talented, moody, half-arsed, Rom - no service, gives up.. Barkley - lax, doesn't make enough happen. Baines - no help down the left - or isn't allowed to advance/doesn't bother. Fumes Nori - out of position.. Seamus - still the same headless chicken running into the box (effective 1 time in 8) and so on and so on..

agreed...in the short-term we need to play the younglings, in the long-term a maximum cap on wages wouldn't go amiss. We could reduce ticket and telly prices then to make up. Will never happen tho'.

Apart from that 4 game purple patch that was Koeman's honeymoon period, these players have had relegation form since about March.

I'm genuinely concerned for where we are heading.

4-2-3-1 doesn't suit any of our players that's been shown for 2.5 seasons now. Gueye could play in any midfield with his form at the moment. He does his job and that's it.
