Why the hell are the players not getting looked at more by the fanbase at what is going wrong ?

Individual mistakes galore
Book releases left right and centre
Poor form
Lack of effort

All this despite all taking contract renewals the second they are offered them.

Its about time the likes of Jags, Howard, Distin, Baines took some of the brunt of the criticism.

Where is the leadership?
Where is the effort? Where is the manning up?
Everything was cosy last year and they to a man admitted they have gone on another level under the new manager.
At times like these, the core of this squad of players would rally round and dig in for results, drag us through the [Poor language removed]. They really owe it to Martinez to do so again, starting tomorrow.

If they dont then they are taking every single one of us for a ride. Look at the Spurs, Chelsea, UTD players under AVB, Moyes etc. They saw those managers off.

We think were some special club but if the players do that to the man who they broke records for last year then quite frankly we have sunken lower than what the traditions of our badge and motto bestow on the custodians of the club.

If you start blaming the players it's more worrying because it is a lot more difficult to improve the players you have than it is to just sack the manager and start again. The players have been poor, but Martinez has also been a bit of a tit with some of his decisions. They're all deserving of flack.

Oh yeah...theres criticism but I dont see it to the level of whats being aimed at the boss.

But fair enough, it is more common for fans to blame mainly the manager.

I guess I wouldn't see the need for this thread if the people moaning about the boss and talking about sacking him could at least mention other factors such as.....the players playing crap!
