I'm hoping the King's Speech isn't rewarded - what a complete load of tosh that was. On the basis that it wont over-run the event I'm going for...

So long as the Social Network and Black Swan get some recognition, I'll be happy. They're my two films of 2010, by a massive, massive margin.

Did you catch The Fighter?

Shutter Island should have been short-listed. Came out too early in 2010 probably.

Did you catch The Fighter?

Not yet actually. It looked really good, but I'd be surprised if I enjoy it more than the two I mentioned. They were exactly my kinds of films; one a fascinating dramatisation of a scarcely touched topic I dig (the world of business and invention) and the other a genre-defying... just plain weird psychological mindfeck.

I will watch the Fighter, though. Marky Mark's come a long way
