I can remember them finding an Alsations head in the kitchen of my local Chinese back in the 80's.

Originally called Ambrose Slade, I believe.

Noddy Holder claims that the skinhead image was designed by their then manager.

This went badly wrong at an early gig in Wolverhampton.

Genuine skins in the audience quickly sussed them out as Jarg, and a riot ensued.

Happy days.
