Obviously both have squads superior to anyone really facing relegation, but here's something to consider -- our players are battle-tested when it comes to avoiding the drop, theirs aren't. A couple more dodgy results and they might not know how to reverse the slide. Very long odds, I know, but panic can be a bitch.

….as I said before the game, I couldn’t understand posters wanting Leicester to get something at Spurs. Two consecutive wins for them significantly changes the situation.

Regardless, we can’t do anything about results elsewhere, it is what it is. I’d assume Ipswich will pick up 3 at the weekend so it’ll be a plus if we can maintain our gap with the bottom 4.

4 more wins will hopefully be enough.

Yes. I still dont get people who wanted Leicester to beat Spurs at all. It puts a little pressure on us, plus with injuries it doesnt help. I want the gap to the 3rd/2nd bottom to stay as big as pos, for if we go on a bad run as no doubt we will do. I think more of staying above the bottom 3, than hoping we can catch a certain team above us

A win this weekend will be huge. Saying it either way though. Ive always said we would stay up.

Hopefully Villa will win and I would expect Ipswich to win but a draw or a shock Southampton win would be good.

That leaves Everton v Leicester. Massive opportunity to get a comfortable gap on the bottom three. I don’t care how but just win Everton

Good time to be playing Villa with them having little recovery time, plenty of injuries and also letting Buendia and Duran out without any replacements currently so their bench is going to be very weak.

However Wolves have Joao Gomes suspended and Strand Larsen injured so feels a nailed on low scoring draw.

Ipswich have to beat Southampton really to have realistic chance of still getting to 34-35 points. Around this time last year Luton were picking up momentum and then they lost at home to Sheffield United and that completely stalled everything, don't think they won another game after that.

I think if we beat Leicester then we're pretty much safe, that'll leave us on 26 points which is 10 clear and gives us 15 games to pick up 10 points or so (our current PPG would leave us between 38/40 points by the end of the season but that may slow down due to the injuries sustained recently).

Only Spurs have a multitude of players to come back which will improve them - us not so much.

Tim looked good though before the injury

He did, only thing that was obvious he needed to work on was his stamina. He had great link up with Ndaiye though which is promising moving forward for us. Might be something we can develop more moving forward into the second half of the season with a more positive coach

Ipswich have a load of easy fixtures in April when we start our hell run
