Bruce Wayne

Player Valuation: £100m
I've twice wanted to reply to the news articles in the Blue Room recently but am obviously not allowed. Seems silly to post a new topic on a topic that already has it's own thread. Can it be made so we can reply to the news articles?

I know mate, I am trying to sort it, as you know all our updates go on newsnow and other sources.

At the moment when someone clicks on one of our updates from a website like that, rather than go to the initial post it would go to the last comment. So in other words, when i updated about Arrogones praising Arteta and Everton, when people would click that link, they would see a Kopite saying he's racist, rather than the update.

I have posted 5 support posts on the problem since the 17th Feb... still awaiting an answer.

How does the NewsNow thing work? Obviously being a forum it's unlikely that you're the original source of the news article. Do they mind that? Do you get much traffic from it as yet?

Well each news article is roughly read by about 500ish unique readers.

As for originality, most websites/newspapers report on the same news so no they dont mind.

They are very strict on plagiarism though.

You wouldn't believe the arguments over it mate, about 10 PM's sent, 10 posts and as a result, nearly got banned from a forum trying to find out the solution!

i was thinking wether or not to make this reply, maybe my resolve wasnt strong enough.

with regards the emboldened text in the above quote, danny, you might need to be careful, there might be one or two hyper sensitive forum members here that would look down their noses at you for such a statement.

i dont mind what you post, it appears to me you have made an honest point, and fair play to you for such. :)
