ive been properly properly superstitious about this for ages, all our best seasons have been with white nets
im absolutely convinced if we change the colour of the nets we'll win the league next year

I know, i was watching prem league years and they were there, remember that season we had black nets as well, think that wasn't a great season. 04-05 white nets.

There could be some legs in this to be honest, Neville Southall wrote in a book years ago that he would never hang a towel in the nets because it gave the strikers something to aim for. Tourette's hangs a towel....just saying like.
