Anyone else having serious Everton withdrawal symptons? Can't stand there not being any matches on a weekend and we're always quiet at this time on the transfer front.

July 14th can't come quick enough!
 

Completely. I haven't been this interested in the off-season (or at any point for that matter) in years and years, and - while this is no slight on Moyes, who I always liked - I can put alot of that down to the new manager. I've been completely immersing myself in the new manager (who was always my first choice, even before Moyes left I admired him - which has probably tripled my excitement) and now that I feel I've got the measure of him, I'm just counting down the days. Or rather, hours. I'm checking every rumour site, news outlet, radio show, sky sports news, the Echo, the Post, not to mention every forum. I've actually now took to checking other ones for transfer rumours, and even if we signed no-one I'd still be excited just to see how Martinez has us playing, so factor in the transfer window and our lack of signings (I know I'm being just a little demanding given how early it is, but that's the nature of this bloody window!) I am just desperate to see who we sign, desperate to get going, desperate for more Everton.
 
Hate this time of year when it comes to football, watching the confederations cup just isn't the same as watching Everton.

The thing is, if the confed cup was in the season time, i'd quite happily watch and enjoy it. Just not interested in it at all.

I feel desperate to know how he is going to go with us, are we changing to 5-3-2 or are we gonna stick with the usual.
 
It's especially bad when there is no 'proper' international tournament to distract you which makes it a long drought indeed until mid-August. Not even counting pre-season games as the players are only half-arsed about the results.

Bored out my mind. Waited weeks for the fixture announcement, felt great reading them for half an hour and now I've gone back to awaiting the Accrington Stanley game. July in 8 days, things can only get better.
 

A coupla early ish signings would help give us something to think about, sure is frustrating watching other teams sign players. Usual boring summer so far.
