Sky are literally and figuratively creaming themselves about this one...

Billing it as the final Stevie G derby - no doubt they'll give it the full treatment prior to KO. There'll be montages of his goals, tackles, celebrations, when he was assaulted by Hibbert and that other occasion when Gary Naysmith tackled him with his crotch.

Just be thankful its not at Mordor itself. Remember their sickening coverage when Dogleash came back and they ran a whole 'Lord of the Rings: Return of the King' special? They didn't even go for an ad break just before kick off, as they normally would, instead they muted the commentary, pulled down their wegs and sprayed their love juice all over the Kop whilst singing along to YNWA...Jermaine Beckford almost spoiled the party that day...almost...

Clearly Gerrard will score a penalty and Sturridge is good for at least a brace imo.

So I make that we need four to win.

How about billing it as the last Kevin Mirallas derby (in view of rumours)

Already the RS bias has commenced.

Just seen that Sky advert. It's absolutely laughable, but I can't say I didn't see it coming. The whole build up will be about him, the commentators will talk about him non stop whenever he gets the ball you will hear "and now here's GERRARD". I'm just hoping and praying that we sh*t all over his big day.

Would you rather we were taking a knife to a gunfight?
I'd prefer he was honest. We've won 1 in the last 9. Draws aren't good form for me.

It's one comment yeah, I'm not really crying about it. It just seems unnecessary when he could just say we're hoping to use the derby as a catalyst for the rest of the season having underperformed so far
