Almost had my first about a week and a half ago. 225 yds par 3...was about 4 inches away. Had a handful of near ones...witnessed my first one last year. I think I was more excited than my buddy.

Really enjoyed watching the Par 3 competition yesterday evening especially the nine hole-in-ones.

Imagine if the caddy, who was only a few inches, had scored the hole-in-one. Would have been spectacular!

Just looked at the forecast it seems the later starters are getting a bad deal as the wind is to get worse throughout the day. Pity cos I backed mcilroy who is off last! Jimmy walker who is 80/1 played the par 3 in around 9 under yesterday must be a good each way bet.
