Yeah I get why he'd be annoyed about it, but his comments today were quite naive I think.

Splitting the fanbase over something this trivial is not needed a couple of days before the season starts.

Splitting? Everyone should be on his side if they’re a fan.

The fan base isn’t split. Some people are giving too much credence to this sort of thing.

We’re Everton fans, not “ITK” or “content creator” fans.
