I'm currently reading 'Self Help' by Samuel Smiles and throughout his book he mentions the importance, documented with countless examples, of people struggling early in life before overcoming their struggles to succeed. He goes as far as saying that such struggles are crucial in forging the strength of character required to succeed.
We've had it tough this season what with the poor summer transfer window and the injuries we've had, but I think these have forged an even stronger team spirit, and now I feel that this team can overcome nearly any obstacle such is their mental strength.
