I think the Balin looks a bit naff!! big fan of the Tolkien books, the dwarves look a bit over the top silly......hmmmm looks good though!

I was expecting them all to look as ridiculous as Gimli, but I think, though slightly toned down, the sheer volume of dwarf in this movie compounds the silliness. I won't mind, it will be awesome.

I read the Hobbit to my kids when they where about 6 or so and every year for about 5 years afterwards its a great story and i have to say im looking forward to the film

They need to throw in a quick cameo with Gervais and the rest dressed up as hobbits, for obvious reasons.
