Had to stop listening to music while lifting when I realised that it was separating me from the exercise, like, I need to be able to hear myself breathe and I need ALL my focus on the different stages of the move. Squats has about five different sections... 1) Stick backside out, 2) Brace core and pelvic muscles, 3) drop downwards and backwards to parallel, 4) Squeeze glutes, 5) Drive up through heels ...and I know I need to do them all in the correct order or I'll be in deep trouble. Trying to do all that with Dizzee Rascal in my ears was impossible.

Went for a push day, as I've separated push + pull and 1 day of more intense cardio (and other sports if 5 or 7-a-side happens).

Well in mate. I do 12x 3 mins shadow boxing a 2-3 times a week. Must look like a right dick head but it’s decent cardio if you go for it.

I’d struggle 12x3 shadow boxing like. Was doing two minute stations this morning in rotations and ruined me. Ace cardio.

I don’t go fully for it during the 3 mins on. I try to stick to a minute break like in boxing. Blown out me arse by halfway lol

I used to mate but I home gym now and haven’t got a bag. That’s why I stick to shadow boxing for cardio. Sometimes do shorter rounds and use light weights. Do miss using a bag. Flirted with getting pads and getting the missus to hold them like lol

She only has to count to six, harsh but can see she respects a firm rule.

It can help you eat less - I find 16/8 great for killing snacks after dinner.
But if you're basically eating the same amount, just on a different schedule, it will do nothing.

Yeh you still need to be good during the 8 hours of eating like. When I first attempted it I’d find myself trying to pack in whatever I could during the 8 hours haha

Cheers, that was one of the things I wasn't sure about. So it's basically just a way to eat less. So I guess if you're trying to add to your muscle mass it's probably not helpful?
