Pretty sure you can view your warnings on your profile page or whatever it is called. Also, on the sticky post about the rulez and that, it has the details about how long they linger for.

nope, never been visible.
We post in the dark thinking every one could be our last, it's why bans can seem utterly random from our end. Especially as you can't even login to read the message sent to you to tell you why you've been banned.
