And now Melky Cabrera?! Did not see that one coming! Guess that's left field sorted then! Wasn't expecting us to be active in the free agent market, especially after the Marlins trade (which still hasn't been confirmed...) but wow! Loving the management really making a statement this off season and giving us a real chance of making the play-offs next year. Of course it may not work but damn it's going to be fun to watch.

All being well I'll be in Toronto for at least the first half of next season as I've signed up to do a work abroad thingy. Couldn't have picked a better year Blue Jays-wise by the looks of things!

Glad that there is some optimism with the Jays but Reyes for 5 years and 96 mil is a scary proposition.

With the addition of Dickey our starting rotation looks pretty damn awesome Pretty early to be saying we're favourites for the World Series but we should certainly be in contention to win the AL East, which in itself would be incredible!
