- BBC4 Wed night (1am Thursday morning) ...

Another chance to see the superlative "Golden Vision" - BBC4 tomorrow night... the perfect antidote to having to watch 90m of The ****e game (or having to avoid your local pub that night)

An me , lad . I can do copies on me Dvd Recorder .
Anyway , 2 points ; #1 ; The Priest . Are you watching Celtic Fans ??
( Not trying to make it a religious thing , but illustrating FACTS . )
#2 ; 400 trains to the Great Glass-House . Fukn Awe-Inspiring . Our kids are fukn sick of it . I ram it down their throats at every opportunity .
I had the good fortune to meet and speaK with the great man last year when he did that radio merseyside thing . He was , of course , a Legend in every way . Also , when he found out about me gerting to know Bally , he was even nicer . They were bessy's at our place .
Warms the cockles of your heart .
Only thing , he signed all kinds , progs , that photo ,
" Sack Cattrick , Keep Young , " , ( sic ), which I have up my living room ; but he signed the book,
To L.C.A.B. , Best Wishes , Alex Young .
Alas , the pen was jargoon so when I closed the page it all smudged .
It now says , To , Da*^:@@# , Best *^$$£*@@###, or something along those lines . I didn't cry though .

He's an Everton God , and there aren't many left . Treasure him , and it .

If it's the play that I'm thinking of, I haven't seen it since its original transmission in 196whenever.

Two abiding memories are of the scallies in a strip club, ignoring the act because they're arguing about Alex Young. Priceless.

And spam butties.

Have I got that right?

an inspiration to Blues of all ages.
Fantastic programme, brought back lots of memories.

It taught me sooo much. My grandfather made me watch it near enough every week before we went to the match from about the age of 4 till I lost him. he watched it every day on Betamax, then VHS, before every single match, home or away.

He said"It helps to remind me that through thick and thin we are unique".

That is all I need to know.

Big snog and hug to Bluelass. I am sure you know what I mean.
