Player Valuation: £8m
Clearly that Martinez is building for the future.
Looking at their ages, they can play and develop together for many years. Really excited where this can end. ☺☺

Stones, 20
Barkley, 20
Coleman, 25
Lukaku, 21
Besic, 21
Gibson, 27
Oviedo, 24
McCarthy, 23
Garbutt, 21

i dont think garbutt will make it as we have baines and oviedo ready to fill those positions

garbutt will end up at a championship side imo

Table, lamp, sofa, giraffe and chair.
Gibson is the giraffe.

He doesn't belong to the group of young exciting players for the future.

Think back 12 months ago - Moyes gone, manager who just seen his side relegated coming in, our best 2 players Baines and Fellaini on way to Utd, Kone as our main summer signing and best striker, few central midfield options.

Fast forward 12 months.......

Seems easy to say now but this was obviously the key signing for us. The responses on here show that it is a focal point for the fans as well as a major presence on the pitch (see Jags comments). It's a major lift for everyone at exactly the right time.

Arguably got the best goalkeeper in the league, definitely got the best young defender in the league, got the best two full backs in the league, got the best young midfielder in the league if not europe, and one of the best young strikers in world football.

I think Martinez deserves immense credit, for the obvious reasons, but also for his ability to give Bill Kenwright the confidence to go against his security/stability based mindset ,and spend big bucks. This really could be an exciting few years, and the assets on the field will surely make Everton a much more saleable club, despite our limited revenue, and stadium requirements.
