My interest in it usually ends at round 3, maybe round 4? but very seldom.

As I have a few mates in the land of Coronation Street, I would be happy for them if City win. But I will not be watching it.

Genuinely didn't know it was the final this weekend, genuinely didn't know who the finalists are until i read this thread (thanks!). That's football today for a non-sky household that's given up even turning the tv on to try and find something interesting or worth watching ... yes I assume the fa cup is still on the bbc thanks to government intervention, but I've long given up even looking at their tv listings as a waste of time.

I used to create wall charts of the competition, and remember when the entire family sat down to watch all-day coverage of the event.

Hope Palace win as they're underdogs. Won't be watching because football is full of cheats today. Remember when Willie Young fouled a young Paul Allen of West Ham, through on goal? The nation and commentator seem to have been revolted by it. Today that kind of cheating is laughed at and sanitized with a phrase - "taking one for the team." Not arsed with that.

It's on ITV as well.

I hate what the fa and the cryarse scab clubs and other prem teams have done to the fa cup.

I hate what the media have done to the fa cup (and football in general), allowing kick off times to be messed about with and zero thought for match going supporters.

Praying for a palace win, and not just because of the gentleman that is @Alan Whittle being a super eagle. Have a great day fella.

Palace are a proper club with great fans, that have some good players and a likeable, decent manager - a palace win is good for us all and for football as a whole, as it brings a little bit of the magic back to a competition that has been systematically stripped of it.

Cmon the super eagles! Best of luck palace. 🤞🤞🤞🤞

Wasn't the intention to field their first eleven in the European Super League, and a second string in the Premier League?
The intention was to make so much money that they would buy everyone else's best players and be the top 6 for ever while the other teams begged for a place in their European Super League. Looking at the state of Man United and Barcelona's finances I wouldn't bet against it rearing it's ugly head again.
