But who out of the current squad would you see as sellable without making us sh*t?!

For me it's:
Jagielka - I know controversial. But we'd get an alright fee, and he hoofs I know.
Anichebe - He's just turd
Rodwell - As the resident GOT Rodwell hater I just don't get the hype. Never done anything to prove me otherwise.

I quite like everyone else. Even Gueye.

Pretty much the same. We have better players in their positions and Im not even sure the latter 2 are that interested anyway

Though due to his age I dont see much resale on Syla, so if not him then possibly Heitinga as both Arsenal and Spurs would jump at the chance.

Agreed mate. Once touted as a £10m player, but we'd be lucky to get £4m I think.

We cannot afford to sell any of our centre backs. If Heitinga or Jagielka go then we're left with one long term CB option, one 34 year old and one kid who may or may not be up to the task.

Midfield is where we should be looking to take a hit if we have to. I'd get rid of Vic, and Rodwell (if the price was right).

Definitely Rodwell (although he'll now have his best season for us).
I'd say Heitinga - for the money we could get for him, we could replace, plus we have Jags and Distin already with Duffy coming through.
Anichebe - while he's not exactly useless, he's nowhere near consistent enough.

I agree with Jags, I'd trust Moyes to dig out an able replacement on the cheap.
Anichebe, yeah he can go.
Rodwell, see, I agree that the hype around him is baffling. But I also thing some dumb ass will pay big bucks for him if he does one special thing against a halfway decent team (i.e. like score against Man Utd again). So worth keeping as a potential saleable asset to an idiot.

I am ambivalent about Seamus to be honest. Not sure he will ever add much to his game on the wing or have the discipline and positional sense at right back.

Neville. For reasons I probably don't need to list (fill in your own pet Neville critiques...)

Thought Jagielka would get a mixed reception.

He's no doubt a good defender. But we play better football with the other two.

It's all opinions though.


Oh and I'd fume if we sold Vellios. Apart from how sexy he is, there's just something there that makes me think he'd be ace given the chance.

I think that's the relevant point on Rodwell as whatever we'd get for him now in my opinion doesn't make it worthwhile selling him.

I'm not sure Rodwell will ever make it but I'm pretty sure he'll never make it as a centre-half , I can't see him ever playing there
