I look at countries like Norway and Switzerland, doing very well on their own, and ask why we can't do the same.
Good point

Johnson is a proper Uncle Tom.Remind me again why the Labour Party was created?

Labour should campaign to stay in the EU even if David Cameron negotiates away British workers’ rights that come with membership of it, a senior Labour politician has said.
Former Home Secretary Alan Johnson criticised a previous suggestion by his party leader Jeremy Corbyn that Labour should wait to see whether the prime minister’s package was acceptable.
“Even if [David Cameron] did come back with a package that interferes with workers’ rights we don’t get rid of the EU, we get rid of the Tories,” he told a fringe meeting at Labour party conference.

Being out would mean we could cut our own deals with China.I don't think leaving the EU will help us whatsoever
I don't think it'll be disastrous either to be honest. It would hardly be apocalyptic if we left
That being said, with the rise of China it's a good idea for us in Europe to get our eggs together in the same basket and promote a united front. For that reason, I'm voting to stay in
It sounds lovely doesn't it, the reality might be very different though.

The bit in bold also applies to the EU, nobody votes for the people making the decisions and they are committed to expansion look at their interfering in the Ukraine for example. It's not so much deals I'm worried about, but more the fact that there's this ever growing international power with an undemocratically elected government and it might be a good idea to have some back up if they ever start eyeing us up
We are the United Kingdom, the 5th biggest economy and the EU's biggest export market in the world. We can achieve our own deal. Plus, we can make our own global deals, we have ties throughout the world and particularly, we have connections with the Commonwealth and the English speaking parts of the world.
Let's start to think globally for a bright and prosperous future, let's get control of our country back and let us put the Great back into Great Britain.
How much of that is from the EU?LOL yeah ok mate.
