Farewell to Robin Le Mesurier who has died from Cancer at the age of 68. He was the son of John Le Mesurier and Hattie Jacques and was brought up in a bohemian lifestyle. A veteran of Rock and Roll he first appeared on Top of the Pops dressed as a Womble, toured extensively with Rod Stewart and joined the Faces for their reunion tour. He also played more than 1,000 gigs with Monsieur Johnny Halliday, the King of French Rock and Roll, and that is no mean feat. He sure lead ‘A Charmed (Rock and Roll) Life’ RIP

Former England cricket captain Ray Illingworth has died aged 89. He was the last England captain to regain the Ashes in Australia.

He was way before my time as a player but remember him for being a commentator on the BBC and his spell as England's Chairman of selectors were he and then captain Michael Atherton seemed constantly at logger heads. RIP.

A good spinner, useful batsman, a very good skipper and your typical belligerent Yorkshireman.
TBH Hes one of those I thought had died years ago.

Glad @Kurt. hasn't made any of his silly jokes about this news.
He would have poor Ray spinning in his grave.
