A great band, Twink was part of the Pretty Things then left and went on to start the Pink Fairies another very underrated band.

Pink Fairies. That's a blast from the past. I remember going to one of their concerts at the old Stadium and they turned up well over an hour late due to their bus breaking down. The support group were playing requests while we were waiting and I remember head banging to possibly one of the worst renditions of Stairway to Heaven ever. By the time the headline act finally turned up, they were that pissed they could hardly hold their instruments never mind play them. Musically, it was quite possibly the worst concert I have ever been to, but one of the most memorable too. Everyone had a great time. lol
