RIP to a great bass player - Phil Spalding, who had a really great career, including playing for Bernie Torme, Original Mirrors, Toyah, Flesh for Lulu, GTR, Mike Oldfield and Suggs amongst many others.

I remember him getting up with Sliced Bread at the Cumberland Tavern one night and absolutely steaming through My Generation by the Who!
